#36 – Talking Asian-Inspired Gangster Fantasy with Fonda Lee

We’re very excited to chat with Fonda Lee, the author of the Asian-inspired gangster fantasy epic (and one of Marvin’s favorite books of 2017), Jade City. Fonda shares about her path to becoming a full-time author and her inspirations in creating the world of Jade City. We also chat about our thoughts on the fantasy genre, and how we’d like to move beyond the typical euro-centric stories.
